What is this about?

PheNUmenal was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) project in the field of theoretical particle physics. It was funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe programme and held at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Instituto de Física Teórica from September 2022 to August 2024.

Our Research

The main goal of PheNUmenal was to explore what kind of new physics could be behind neutrino masses, in connection at the same time with broader theoretical scenarios by means of effective field theories.

Outreach

Outreach activities were fundamental in the development of PheNUmenal. Outreach talks, hands-on activities and our masterpiece: an online escape room based on theoretical physics!
